Job Requirements:
Deputy General Managers/ General Managers. Reporting to Chief Executive Purpose and scope :The head of Quality would be responsible for administering the company quality program in accordance with customer and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Establish procedures for maintaining high standards of quality, reliability.
Determine and enforce - through functional groups - quality and safety requirements in accordance with company needs, based on current regulations and state-of-art product development. Organise and promote company wide quality improvement efforts. Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of quality, reliability and safety. Directly responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the quality system for review and as a basis for
improvement of the quality system. The head of Duality also has responsibility to act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the quality system. Organizational Relationship: The Head of quality function reports directly to the chief executive of the company and has a support responsibility to all-functional Heads.
Technical Requirements:
Qualification: Four year technical degree preferably in Mechanical Engg From MT/REC /BITS
Technical Requirements: 10-12 years of broad technical experience in Engineering Industries, (preferably in Automobile), of which at least two to three years in quality administration and / or quality engineering Managerial Experience: Three to five years experience in managing technical personnel and complex activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of engineering or technical operations and should include a minimum of two years in quality management. Competencies - Functional Quality Standards, Knowledge of business process, Field Failure analysis, Concurrent Engg, Auditing Skills, DFA/DFM, Metrology, SPC TQM
Desirable : Knowledge of Quality Function Deployment / Kansai Engg, ISO Leadership. Customer focus and Quality, Change Leadership, Managing Tasks
