Engineering Director
Position based in Bangalore, India.
We’re looking for an Engineering Director who can drive technical projects and provide leadership for a large group of engineers in an innovative and fast paced environment. The incumbent will be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of the projects. Another important responsibility would be to build the Bangalore office as a R&D center where new projects get chartered and drive innovation. The person should be a computer scientist who can attract the top talent of computer engineers.
Qualities we are looking for:
‘ The ideal candidate would have 8+ years of relevant experience managing large, fast-paced and dynamic engineering teams.
* Very high technical competence, strong coding, individual technical accomplishments, and a strong academic record would be essential.

Engineering Manager/Director

This position is available in Bangalore, India.
We’re looking for a highly technical, hands-on Engineering or Operations Manager to lead a team of 4-10+ Google software engineers and systems administrators for the Google.com group. The Google.com teams are directly responsible for Google’s stellar uptime record, and act as the guardians and custodians of Google’s user-visible services. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that Google users can always reach and use all of the services under your team’s care.
Requirements:
‘ Very high technical competence and strong academic record.
” 3-10+ years of relevant experience managing software development and/or operations teams.
* 4+ years of relevant hands-on technical experience, and a record of technical achievement.
* Strong understanding of networking, delivery components (service delivery components include servers, networks, and applications): be familiar with the functionality, operating, and failure modes of key networking devices (routers, switches, bridges, firewalls, hardware load balancers); be able to indentify networking as the potential cause of a service issue using server-resident tools to generate this idea (tcdump, ping, traceroute, etc); familiarity in interpreting the output of these tools; familiarity with common network topologies, protocols, and tools; have somenotion of common network security exploits — and their remedies; understanding of troubleshooting at the packet level.
* Skilled in leading projects, especially in deploying live end-user systems.

IT Field Technician
Positions available in Bangalore and Hyderabad, India. As Google grows, the number of Google office locations is growing too. We are looking for experienced IT (Field) Engineers responsible for supporting the growing needs of Google’s businesses and offices across India and coordinating technical resources at various locations worldwide. Indian Counsel
Position based in Bangalore, India or Hyderabad, India. Google’s legal team is growing! Google is looking for an experienced Indian-qualified attorney to support Google’s expanding Indian operations. The Indian Counsel’s primary responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating licensing, purchasing, services, and development agreements, managing legal compliance and coordinating on a variety of day-to-day legal matters. He or she wiU work independently but collaboratively with the global Google Legal team within a fast-paced legal department and company.
Responsibilities:
* Respond promptly to legal requests from advertising saies/operations, engineering, marketing, human resources, finance and other business and GSA clients.
* Advise business professionals and management, as well as finance and other company departments on legal issues and risks, deal structures, approval processes, company policies and procedures, intellectual property, and negotiation strategy.
” Negotiate agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
* Summarize and communicate legal concepts for use by business people.
