Capacity Development: & Training Expert
GTZ is an international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development with worldwide operations. GTZ is fully owned by the German Federal Government. We implement development programmes on behalf of the German government, partner-country governments and international clients.
GTZ offers a challenging job opportunity at a senior level for a Capacity Development and Training Expert in the area of natural resource management (NRM) in India. Reporting to the NRM Programme Coordinator, the Expert will closely cooperate with large scaie public investment programmes in rural areas, The Expert will provide guidance in identifying, designing and developing innovative capacity development and training systems for service providers of public programmes; development: of quality management system for service providers; and organizational development for project partners. A focus will be on the identification and utilization of public-private partnerships for efficient service delivery in rural areas.
Applicants should hold a Post Graduate degree in management or social sciences with a specialization in public systems management, organizational development or human resource development. At least H) years of relevant work experience, predominantly in. the areas of capacity development, organizational development and training systems design is essential. Applicants must have experience and good understanding of capacity development for public investment schemes and programmes for rural areas.
Applicants must have the ability to lead and work in teams, excellent presentation and written communication skills in English and Hindi, and be willing to travel extensively. The selected candidate shall be offered a two-year contract with possibility of extension based on performance. Compensation levels of GTZ are competitive. Selected candidates shall be required to join within a month.
