Job Description:
To proactively assist the Manger – Logistics in the executing the Logistics Function of
PVMI, in a manner that ensures that: Ensure availability to depots to meet
agreed service levels.
Ensure that the warehouse conforms to meet ISO 9000 requirements
Ensure that the warehouse meets agreed turn around times
Manage freight rates Grow the vendor base Reduce cost through innovation
Ensure the timely release of plan and schedule
Ensure that as far as possible, production schedules enable the Plants to maximize
Plant Productivity and Energy Efficiencies.
Timely and accurate release of MIS Business Development Meet Sales Plans weekly and monthly.
Effective Production Planning and Scheduling.
Accurate and timely MIS reporting.
Development of Self
Financial
Meet and exceed variance and savings targets.
Cost Reductions through innovation.
Inventory Management.
People Orientation
Development of subordinates.
Good Networking.
Good Vendor Relationships
Desired Profile:
PG in Mathematics / Economics or B.Tech.
BE / B.Tech or MBA (Operations), preferred.
Minimum 4 years in a similar or 6 years in a related capacity. FMCG organization
preferred.
