ABB AG, also known as ABB Germany, is a subsidiary of power and automation technologies giant ABB Ltd. and the holding company for the group’s German operations. Its units manufacture and distribute power transmission equipment, power generation equipment, and industrial and building systems. ABB Germany operates through its businesses: Power Products, Power Systems, Automation Products, Process Automation, and Robotics. The company operates in approximately 100 countries. The group stems from the merger of Asea AB and BBC Brown Boveri AG in 1988.
