New Delhi February 22, 2002: ABB announced its decision to expand its power transformer factory at Vadodara, India. This will enable the company to produce the complete range of power transformers upto 400 Kilovolts (kV).
The state-of-the-art facility in Vadodara was a greenfield development and commissioned in 1999. Since the start-up phase, the factory has demonstrated consistently good product performance. ABB and IIT, Delhi signed an MoU for technology development and knowledge sharing through specific development projects and research in power and automation.
