During the professional career I have gained in-depth knowledge of various machines related to automobile manufacturing industries as well as air conditioning manufacturing industries. I possess hands on experience of servicing / maintenance of general purpose & special purpose machine tools with C.N.C., Power presses, Air Compressors (Low Pressure & High Pressure) of Atlas Copco & Ingersoll Rand make (both rotary & reciprocating type) up to 1000 cfm capacity. I have also maintained Mobile Cranes of Groove make, Hoists, Overhead cranes, Forklifts & Reach Trucks up to 7.5 Ton Capacity. My experience also includes maintenance of D.G. Set. Spare parts planning, budgeting and maintenance of service / maintenance records in computers. I have also successfully handled project work.
Negotiations with suppliers / contractors were part of my responsibilities in my previous organizations. Planning & up keeping of Service / Maintenance contract for various equipments have been successfully handled by me. I have guided team of engineers & technicians who were my subordinates in the department to achieve trouble free & breakdown free running of equipments / machines with the help of Preventive Maintenance and analyzing the breakdowns with the help of computerized maintenance / service record of the activities and modern maintenance management techniques. I was actively involved in installation & commissioning of various machineries & equipments in co-ordination with manufacturer’s representatives.

* Sep. 2004 to Till Date: Head of Service Deptt. in a leading HVAC & Electro-Mechanical contracting Company. Presently holding responsibility of MEP maintenance, including HVAC equipments viz. Chillers, Package A.C.s & related equipments of various sites in Bahrain including leading shopping Malls, International Airport, leading business and commercial complexes.
* Feb.2001 to Aug. 2004: Maintenance Manager in a leading air Conditioner manufacturer in Bahrain having turnover in excess of USD $ 40 million. Responsible for Overall Maintenance activities including Spare Parts Planning, Budgeting, Maintaining computerized record (BAAN) of Breakdown & Preventive Maintenance of the machines, Equipments & Services in the plant which comprise of Hydraulic & Power Presses up-to 400 Ton Cap. Responsible for Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance of Turning m/cs, Gear Cutting m/cs of Gleason make, Heat treatment Furnaces, Hydraulic Presses and Grinding machines of International manufacturer including CNC m/cs, Air Compressors, Forklift, Hoists, Spare parts planning & in house development of costly imported spares. Reporting to Vice President-Technical. Subordinate staff included team of engineers & skilled workmen.
* Feb.’99 to Aug.’99: Maintenance Manager in National Engineering Co. Ltd., Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, a leading engineering industry of East Africa. Overall in charge of maintenance of complete plant & services with manufacturing facilities including Foundry Shop with Induction Furnace, Sand Mixing Plant, Moulding m/c, Overhead Crane, Cupola Furnace, Steel Fabrication Shop with Arc Welding m/cs, MIG Welding m/cs, Overhead Cranes, Press Brake m/c, Shearing m/c, Roller Bending m/c and Machine Shop having various General Purpose m/cs & range of m/cs for Engine Reconditioning, Range of Automobile vehicles including light & heavy commercial vehicles , passenger cars & Mobile Crane of ISUZU, TOYOTA, GROOVE make, Air Compressor and D.G. Subordinate staff included team of Engineers, Supervisors & skilled maintenance fitters. Area of responsibility covered Breakdown & Preventive maintenance of machine tools & equipments viz. Area of responsibility covered Breakdown & Preventive maintenance of nearly 200 machine tools of Indian & international manufacturer which comprised of G.P.M.s, S.P.M.s, Machining Centers having C.N.C., Gear Cutting m/cs, Air Compressor of capacity up to 1000 cfm., Forklifts, Cranes, Hoists, D.G. sets, Heat Treatment Furnaces & Pneumatic hand tools. Operation & maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant was also under my area of responsibility. Spare Parts Planning, Procurement & Storing of spares, which included development of vendors & in-house development of imported spares. I was independently responsible for maintaining ‘Tools & Consumable stores’.
