Employment History
Presently, I am associated with M/s. Bhala & Bhala, Chartered Accountants as a Partner since October 2006, a well known and growing chartered accountants firm. Here I am responsible for looking after all assignments, staffing on various assignments, meeting with the clients, giving the presentations, taking decisions over the issues arising in the assignments and all other day to day work ranging from maintaining client relations to undertaking work deliveries. This gave me a advanced practical knowledge in the field of accounting, auditing and consulting.
Prior to this, I was associated with M/s. Hewitt Associates (India) Pvt. Ltd., an Indian Subsidiary of Hewitt Associates, LLC a leading HR Consultancy Company having an annual revenue crossing $ 3.0 billions. I joined Hewitt as a Team Leader in Finance Department for its Billing, Accounts Receivable & Collection arm (i.e. Revenue and Receivables Management). I am responsible for besides normal accounts receivable and revenue control practices also for the related monthly reporting to management, Computing Project Profitability, Administrator of Time Recording and Controlling Software.
I started my career with M/s Lodha & Co., Chartered Accountants, New Delhi a leading top 5 Chartered Accountants firm in India and Completed article ship training for three years from July 2001 to July 2004. Before leaving the Lodha & Co. worked as paid assistant till March 2006. At Lodha & Co, I gained lot of knowledge in the field of audits (statutory, internal and tax), accounting, taxation (direct and indirect) and I also learned to work as a team member and team leader, dealing with the clients, etc.

Assisted my seniors / worked as a Team Leader w.r.t. work in areas / field like drafting Report of CARO 2003, notes on accounts, verification of transactions and balances for expression of opinion in accordance with the applicable accounting standards, analytical review of the financials, revenue and cost recognition.

This broad based experience has instilled in me the ability to plan and execute assignments / audits in accordance with relevant professional standards, meet objectives and deliver reports within the time constraints.
Work situations have helped me to integrate practical experience and theoretical knowledge and have led to the development of a strong professional foundation and analytical skills.

Well versed in working with MS-Office, internet browsing and have exposure in SAP Based Auditing. Also possess working knowledge of various GUI based accounting packages such as Tally, etc.
