Senior Test Manager (Job Code: STMI3I5) / Test Manager (Job Code: TESTMGR10I8)
You must have 6-12 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on providing software solutions on different technologies and platforms. You should have an ability to propose and define software test processes. Excellent team leadership, client interfacing, presentation and communication skills are necessary. Experience in test automation tools and knowledge of business domains like Retail, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Telecom will be an added advantage.
You will interact with the client / development team, be responsible for Test Scope Definition, Project Planning, Configuration Management, Estimation, Scheduling, Project Tracking, Status Reporting and demonstrating ROI to the client.
Test Analyst (Job Code: TEST-ANL1020)
You must have 3-6 years of experience in the IT industry, with a good exposure to software test processes. Excellent client interfacing, communication and team player skills are necessary. Experience in test automation tools and knowledge of business domains like Retail, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Telecom will be an added advantage.
You will be responsible for test requirement analysis, test scenario design and review, designing and executing test cases for different test types such as functional, performance, security testing, etc., creation and set up of test data, development of test scripts, automation of regression test suites using industry standard third party tools and status reporting to the Test Manager.
The roles described above would span across the following streams:
Performance Test Stream: Requires good technology skills and ability to work closely with technical architects and development team to analyze bottlenecks and suggest tuning recommendations. Experience in Load testing tools such as Load Runner, SilkPerformer and Webload is a strong plus. Knowledge of any of the application/web servers or databases will be an added advantage.
Functional Test Stream: Requires experience in providing test solutions for applications in business domains like Retail, Finance, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Telecom. Ability to understand end-to-end business processes is a must. Experience in functional test automation tools such as Win Runner, Silk Test, and Rational Test Suite will be an added advantage.
Microsoft Technology Test Stream: Requires good exposure to Microsoft Technologies such as MS SQL server, .Net Framework, C#, VB.Net, ASRNet. Ability to write code components using C# and ability to write SQL queries & stored procedures are a must. Experience in API Testing, Database Testing will be an added advantage.
For all the roles described above, you should have a consistently excellent academic record through standards 10, 12, Engineering/ Graduation and Post Graduation. Candidates with a strong IT background but who have not worked on pure testing projects are encouraged to apply for the above positions if they are keen on pursuing a career in testing with Infosys.
